About the artist
Gabriel Drăghici
Gabriel Drăghici is a painter working primarily in oil and acrylic, drawn for over two decades to the landscapes, forests and waters of the natural world. His canvases trace the shifting moods of light — the hush of an early field, the depth of a pine ridge, the slow warmth of an evening tide.
Working from studies made outdoors and finished in the studio, each piece is built up in layers, searching for the moment a place feels true rather than merely described. The work has been shown in regional exhibitions and is held in private collections.
Alongside the nature work, Gabriel also paints portraits on commission — from official portraits to personal keepsakes, worked from photographs.
